Ideal for those who have completed the Beginners class, Elementary continues to build on the foundations started in Beginners. There is more detail on grip, stance and technique, which will further develop the skills to make a good sound on the taiko.

You will study two new pieces, one written by the class teacher and another inspired by the music of Chichibu Yo-matsuri, a famous Japanese 'night festival' that dates back some 350 years. The TaikOz school is very excited to be able to bring living history into the classroom.
