Introductory taiko workshop

If you have enjoyed a TaikOz performance and would like to learn how to play the awe-inspiring Japanese taiko, join members of TaikOz for a 2-hour 'Taiko is for Everyone' session in Sydney.

A 'Taiko is for Everyone' workshop is open to all ages (recommended 16 years and above). Prior musical training is not a requirement.

In a 'Taiko is for Everyone' workshop you will:

Experience first-hand the amazing sound of the taiko by learning some basic techniques and a short piece of music

Learn about the history and the concepts behind the Art of Wadaiko (taiko drumming)
Enjoy making music with other people and receive a good physical workout!

This workshop is the perfect stepping stone into our TaikOz School, where you can continue your training in the Art of Wadaiko on a weekly basis.
