Claudia began learning taiko with Taikoz in 2009 at the age of 14. After completing her HSC, she gained admission to the University of New South Wales to undertake a Bachelor of Music majoring in taiko performance. Claudia is the first person in Australia to study taiko at university level. Former Taikoz member Kevin Man was her principal teacher and established the curriculum for UNSW. In October 2018, Claudia became a member of Taikoz after one year as Taikoz Young Artist.
Over the past two years, Claudia has regularly performed in Taikoz and Musica Viva's Schools Concert touring ensemble, and has also taken part in numerous Taikoz main-stage performances. She particulalry enjoys playing the katsugi-okedo and taiko set.
Claudia is also a talented composer and is currently undertaking her Honours degree at UNSW with taiko as its focus.
