Taikoz introduced the IDP Ensemble (IDPE) in 2017 with the express aim of giving advanced taiko players the opportunity to focus on the study and performance of ensemble music from the Taikoz repertoire. Artistic Director Ian Cleworth leads the training sessions with contributions by other Taikoz members.
The IDPE provides a
platform for players to continue to develop their taiko skills through
exploring the music, styles and aesthetic of Taikoz, and will include a
performance late in 2020. IDPE rehearses at the Taikoz Ultimo Studio on
Friday evenings.
Please note: The IDP Ensemble is by invitation only and is not open to the general public.
