Update From Lockdown

We're well into lockdown now - Day 17, is it? - but our spirits remain healthy. Although I'd much prefer to be in the dojo, staying at home does have its benefits (not least good coffee on tap). I've been thick into composing a new work for our Coming Together program, which will see the light of day mid-2022. "Zeami's Bones" will sit alongside some amazing works - Luke Styles' "Songs and Grooves" (commissioned by Taikoz with the help of many of our wonderful supporters) and the piece from which we've taken the title, Fred Rzewski's 70s minimalist classic "Coming Together".

Several of the program's works are for taiko, percussion & mixed ensemble, and the lineup we have coming together is a truly fabulous one! Once venues have been organised (unfortunately, not an easy job in this Covid climate), all will be revealed. Thank you so much for your ongoing support and all-round good vibes. See you in November for "Side By Side" (Take 2).
