Percussion Australia says "Yes!"

At Percussion Australia we think it is our role to tell stories – about ourselves, about our world – to help us make connections and to understand each other. Isn’t that the role of all art? The Uluru Statement from the Heart is a wonderful offer from our First Nations peoples to share their culture, and we are excited about the possibilities. As we approach Referendum Day, October 14, we are all asked to examine our hearts on this issue of human rights – do we agree that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should have a say in the decisions that affect them? If you haven’t yet decided how you will vote, you might find this article helpful.
