Workshops
Taikoz member Kerryn Joyce has been playing with the ensemble for 16 years. 14 of those years have been developing her skills as an educator on taiko. Kerryn also has skills as a percussionist working with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Opera Orchestra and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra. She has also worked on productions; most notably the Australian production of The Lion King.
The 20 workshop series offers her teaching for a 90 minute one-off workshop, giving participants an opportunity to work hard at making a great sound on the taiko, and to experience the joy of playing together with an enthusiastic group of people.
Taiko experience recommended. Bring your enthusiasm, open mind and your bachi.
